An excerpt from Sequins in the Toilet:

A member of Harmony on the Sound in Trumbull, Connecticut told a great eyelash story. An exhausted singer came home from a performance and, instead of putting her eyelashes back in their case, she stuck them on the bathroom mirror and went to bed. A while later, her husband came home. First he entered the bathroom, then ran to the kitchen and then back into the bathroom. He had a can of bug spray and proceeded to kill the nasty "bugs" that had attached themselves to the mirror.
